Are your ute trays custom made?
Yes - all of our ute trays are custom made to suit your specific needs. Before we can put together a quote we'll need a list of exactly what you want included in your build. Have a look through the photos on our Instagram @dmc_engineering, let us know what you like the look of, and we'll take it from there.
What's included in a standard tray build?
Our trays are supplied as a complete unit including the tray floor, headboard, and tailboard. At this stage we don't offer sides, undertray toolboxes, or tapered guards - however these are all things we're actively working on for the future.
How much do your trays cost?
Pricing depends entirely on what you want. Key factors include whether it's a single cab or dual cab, headboard style, tailboard style, floor thickness, and any other custom requirements.

What are the lead times for a tray build?
Allow around two weeks for a tray build, plus additional time for installation if required.
Can you fit the tray to my ute?
Yes we can. The ute will need to arrive at our workshop without the existing tub or tray already removed so we can fit it properly.
Do you offer powder coating?
We don't do powder coating in house, however we can arrange to have your tray powder coated before fitment. Just let us know upfront and we'll factor it into the lead time.
Can you do round tube headboards or ladder racks?
At this stage we're focused on square and rectangular construction for our headboards and ladder racks. Round tube style builds are something we're looking at offering in the future - stay tuned.
