Sizing & fitment

The V2 Premium can be made to any tray width and suits standard aluminium or steel ute trays. The 1840mm size is available, while other widths are made to order. Check your required width carefully and follow the measurement instructions shown in the ordering section. If unsure, contact us before placing your order.

Construction & installation

Our original design and strongest tailboard, hand TIG welded from 3mm aluminium box section. It is heavier, sturdier and more resistant to rear impacts than our V1.

Suitable for standard aluminium or steel ute trays. The mounting system is straightforward, requires minimal expertise and can be installed within a couple of hours for many setups. The full mounting bracket kit and hardware are included.

LED tail lights & wiring

Choose Angry Eye or D-Series flat-mount LED tail lights. With the standard delivered package, your selected pair of lights, mounting kit and Australia-wide delivery are included in the price shown.

Supplying your own lights? Select “None (supplying my own)” under Tail Lights. The product price will decrease automatically.

Important: If your vehicle doesn't already have LED tail lights or load resistors fitted, you may need a pair of LED tail light load resistors to avoid rapid flashing or dashboard warning lights.

V2 Premium or V1?

V2 Premium: Our original heavy-duty tailboard, hand TIG welded from 3mm aluminium box section. Heavier, sturdier and more rear-impact resistant, with custom widths available.

V1: Our more economical option, CNC laser-cut and folded from 3mm aluminium plate, then hand TIG welded. Available in 1840mm, which suits most standard Toyota trays and other brands using Triple M or similar trays. View the V1 tailboard.

Both are available with Angry Eye or D-Series LED tail lights, mounting hardware, Australia-wide delivery and Afterpay.

Yes, within reason. Depending on what your under tray toolboxes look like, most of the time we can create a product to suit that exact profile. Send us a photo and your measurements and we'll let you know what's possible.

Absolutely. We'll subtract the cost of the lights and supply you the board on its own. No worries at all.

A mounting system is welded onto the back of each tailboard. This uses brackets supplied to bolt through your main support rails underneath your ute tray. These support rails need to be cut back to the thickness of the board so that it sits nice and flush with the back of your tray. It is then simply drilled and bolted into place. No visible mounts are seen on our tailboards, which gives them a seamless and clean look. Allow around one to two hours for installation including wiring.

No. We only manufacture aluminium tailboards. However we supply many aluminium tailboards that bolt straight onto steel trays. The corrosion resistance and lightweight nature of aluminium makes it a far better option than steel for your tray anyway.

Absolutely. All of our boards can easily be bolted to a 79 Series. The four bolt mounting system also makes it super easy to remove the board whenever you need to access your spare wheel underneath.
